The local quality mark is a mark which qualifies a total of 38 enterprises, funded by the LEADER+ Initiative in the implementation area of Thessaloniki Prefecture.Two clusters have been generated by the LEADER+ Initiative in the area. One concerning enterprises involved in providing agro tourism services, and another concerning enterprises involved in production of high quality local products. The two clusters have been named “Network of Agro-tourism Enterprises of Thessaloniki”, and “Network of Manufacturing Enterprises of Thessaloniki”, respectively.
The “Agro tourism” cluster consists of the following enterprises:

7 Traditional taverns
3 Open farms for recreation, with provisions for limited accommodations and alternative nature sports
1 Thermal baths & spa’s facility
3 Popular culture museums
1 Open to visitors Winery.
The “Manufacturer’s” cluster consists of the following enterprises:
The 2 clusters are both non-profit-making enterprises and their capital derives from direct contribution from the partners. Both clusters are currently involved in studies concerning their further development. The predominant key factor is continuous struggle for better quality in products & services they provide. All the enterprises that will be qualified with the European territorial quality mark have products of 26, 30, 33, 43 classes.
