LOCAL QUALITY AGREEMENT of HALKIDIKI
DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION OF HALKIDIKI S.A.

The Local Quality Mark of Halkidiki is operated and managed by the legal entity “Business Network of Halkidiki S.A.” established in 2006 and until today it is composed of 56 local businesses.

There are quality criteria which are assessed with the use of Quality Forms and apply to businesses in the fields of:

  • Hospitality: Hostels, Accommodations and Farms

  • Gastronomy: Restaurants, taverns, traditional coffee houses

  • Processing of agricultural or animal products (honey, oil, cheese, wine etc)

  • Non-Food Industry (aluminum, furniture etc)

The different quality criteria are different for each one of the four groups of enterprises/branches and they graduate to three basic quality levels according to the consumer – visitor’s satisfaction related to the price and the product or service:

  • First quality level (1 star)

  • Second quality level (2 star)

  • Third quality level (3 star)
